I also recently added a second PVR250, and mine just simply worked out of
the box.  I hesitate to even bring this up because it's so obvious, but for
a few days I also thought PIP wasn't working.  Then I realized I had to hit
the right arrow to bring up the PIP sub-menu.  Hitting OK on the remote
didn't do anything... :)
