Thanks for the seach page (I had been trying to find that) but I had
foud those answers in google, non worked but re-looking at them I
checked my /var/log/mythtv/mythbackend.log and found it was not
switching channels because it was missing from the guide. I am using
Directtv and I need the tunner on channel 3 and change channels with the
directtv box. there is no channel 3 in the tv listings for directtv so I
had to go add a channel 3 ane then manually change the input on the
PVR-250 to tunner.. still no work, I pluged in a RCA composit and did a
test_xxx -p 5 restarted the backend it worked.. unwatchable as it did
not detect my mpeg encoder on the PVER-250 or my mpeg decoder on the VIA
video ..but at least it worked, Im now going ot move my backend to a
diffrent server (athalon 3200 with a gig of ram and 200 gigs of
harddrive) while I beilve the Mini-itx may work for this It will take
more playing. if I get it working on a stronger system and use the
mini-itx as a front end then it will be all good.
