First of all, why are you using Myth 0.7?  AFAIK this won't even work properly 
for TV because of incompatibilities with XMLTV.  You're best off using the 
current release (0.11).  Second, did you ever consider that Myth has its own 
copy of libavcodec for a reason?  You shouldn't be removing things from the 
makefile unless you really know what you're doing.  The libavcodec 
distributed with Myth is a snapshot, so the version you installed and are 
using probably is out of sync with whatever Myth 0.7 is expecting.

Finally, what kind of processor do you have, what version of gcc are you 
using, and have you changed the "-march=pentiumpro" line in your settings.pro 
at all?
