If I was a programmer, I would.  If I was a programmer, though, I'd have been able to get my IR200L working in the first place.  I'm sure that's the crux of the problem - people that have the know-how don't really have the need to make it easier for others.  But I do think it will increasingly be something that's in demand as more people get turned on to both Linux and Myth - with the popularity of digital cable and satellite, there are more people than ever with cable boxes these days.
