nonetheless, mythtv .11 does not have the updated mythtranscode and will
not work properly.  It wasn't until CVS of last week that things
actually worked properly.

That would really help.  If you find something wrong, please let me know
and I'll see what I can do to update my script.  And if you have any
more question, don't hesitate to ask (though I have no guarantees that
I'll have an answer - I'm as new to this as the rest of you)
