PVR 350 TV-Out Frame Dropping
I was probably a little vague about what I meant by setup.
Start up Mythfrontend. There should be a Setup icon here. Select Setup, and go to the TV Settings. In there, there's a Playback settings. Select playback settings. Click Next to Advance to the Second page. On this page, there should be an option to enable the Hardware Decoding. Enable it. Click Next a few times, and then Finish, and you should be good to go.
Let me know if you do/don't get this working.

Brett,
Thanks for the response, however, I can't find anything in Setup that allows for enabling Hardware 350 decoding.
I've tried running mythsetup and it only allows for setting up the backend for video capture, tv listings, etc.
(menu options General, Capture Cards, Video Sources, Input Connections). The Capture Cards section is set up
as follows:
Card Type -> MPEG-2 Encoder Card (PVR-250, PVR-350)
Video Device -> /dev/video0
VBI Device -> /dev/vbi0
Audio Device -> /dev/dsp
Audio Sampling Rate Limit -> (None)
Default Input -> Tuner0
I even tried setting the Video Device to video16, but that didn't work either. Same problem with frame dropping.
I've gone through the Setup menu of mythfrontend, but found nothing in the playback settings (or any other
settings) that speaks to hardware decoding.
Since I'm fairly new to Myth, am I missing something? Do you have a screen shot of the settings screen that I could
see or could you be more specific?
Thanks again,
Jim
