[mythtv-users] Mythtv Hangs w/White Lines Across Screen, RH9, WinTV PCI

I just got my PVR box up and running last night.  I am able to watch tv with xawtv and can hear sound with the tuner card jumpered from out to in on sound card.    The only oddity on xawtv is going full screen cuts the picture in half.  So when I start up mythfrontend and try to watch live tv the screen goes blank for a couple seconds then a series of horizontal skinny white bars appear across the screen and the whole system locks up.  I am forced to click the restart button it is so locked up.

Here are the specs:

- Installed mythtv-suite from ATRpms, followed howto guide there for RH9 install, including new kernel
- Celeron 1gz, 296MB ram, Abit VA6 mb w/onboard sound, nVidia GeForce 4 video, Happ. WinTV PCI capture card
- Fresh Red Hat 9.0 install
