  through our friend google I've found some patches and a few other
  tidbits, but nothing I've taken the time to make work.  I need 2.6.0
  since my tuner isn't (or wasn't) supported under 2.4, but is under
  2.6.  that being said, I *hart* mythtv even without lirc.  ;-)
