OK, I found one solution, and the solution I used is this:
Go to the mythtv/setup directory and rerun the setup program. When queried
about whether or not to reconfigure channels, answer "yes". This will
(re)create the channel listings in ~/.mythtv/*.xmltv. After all of that, run
mythfilldatabase. Now, all is well. :-)
BTW, I'm running mythtv on my SMP machine - 2x450MHz Pentium system with a
Hauppauge WinTV PVR-350 and it just *barely* has enough horsepower to run
mythtv. I trust it will be much better when I can also use the MPEG decoder
in hardware on this card (not to mention the FM radio!).
Nice work, mythtv and ivtv developers!
Later,
Andy
