Just for the record, my PVR-250 setup was having major issues with the audio getting choppy within the first minute of a recording. I switched to this firmware and it is working perfectly.

Subject: [mythtv-users] PVR250 Frame corruption solved
I was having frame corruption issues
(http://www.jrh.net/images/frame.jpg) with my new pvr250 and somebody
figured it out on the ivtv list. With the latest firmware I found on the
mythtv documentation (excellent job btw) its pretty bad corruption but
with the firmware found here
http://nebula.writeme.ch/PVR250/drivers/pvr48_20352.exe I haven't gotten
any bad frames for 30+ minutes now. Btw that firmware might not work
with the iTVC16, I have an iTVC15.
Just posting this here in case somebody else has run into the same thing
and doesn't follow the ivtv list.
