Not sure if everyone has seen this, but this a good article over at via arena. I just picked up the same box and board today, just installed Mandrake 9.1RC2 and it looks all good so far. I have XawTV running on the basic install, and sound seems to be ok. http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=245
