Weird. I changed the appearance settings to make my window smaller, so that 
I could see the xterm console. I then played one of my recordings and the 
console output text similar to the above, including the "Position map 
found". I then tried pressing "e" in the smaller window and THIS time, the 
edit bar appeared.

I then switched back to fullscreen and the edit bar bar appeared when I 
pressed "e". Not sure what's going on here, could there be an initialization 
bug somewhere?

Anyway, seems fine now, though i haven't actually tried editing anything yet 
*grin*. I'll try that, as well as the bookmarks and let you know.
