Would work fine, exept you would not get S-video (usually you have to
connect that directly to your TV (TVs with 2 or more SCART connectors,
usually have S-VIDEO embedded in the second one)), but you would get normal
composite video.

But why spend the cash on this box (you are probably gonna upgrade your tv
sometime?), when you could just use your vcr as the box?

(or is your vcr missing SCART/RCA/S-VIDEO connectors ass well?)
