[mythtv-users] Pundit XF86Config??

Hello all,

I've got my ASUS Pundit system fully up and running, after about two weeks
of tinkering with it :) But nonetheless, it's functional now and I figured
I was ready to hook the system up to my TV finally.

Throughout the whole setup process, I followed Jarod Wilson's great setup
guide: http://pvrhw.goldfish.org/tiki-page.php?pageName=rh9pvr250

So as of right now, I have the onboard SiS video card using the
winischhofer.net driver, and had my XF86Config file setup exactly as was
stated in Jarod's install guide. Which is as follows:

Section "Device"
Identifier "Videocard0"
Driver "sis"
Option "XvOnCRT2" "true"
Option "ForceCRT2Type" "SVIDEO"
#Option "ForceCRT2Type" "TV"
#Option "CHTVOverscan" "false"
Option "CHTVOverscan" "true"
VendorName "Silicon Integrated Systems"
BoardName "SiS 315/650"
VideoRam 65536
EndSection

However, when I do hook the system up to my TV using SVIDEO, I do get video
on screen throughout the entire boot process, but as soon as X attempts to
fire up I get a glitching screen where it flickers back and forth between a
text login and graphical login, and then eventually kicks out an error
stating that it couldn't start X.

>From looking at the XF86Config, and matching it against
http://www.winischhofer.net/sis/XF86Config-4.example -- it does appear to be
setup correctly. But I must be missing something somewhere in here.

Any suggestions from other Pundit users on this one??

Many thanks once again.

Kevin Gibbons
