[mythtv-users] Upgrading from older versions

Hi All,

I'm trying to upgrade an older version of MythTV.  Regrettably, Isaac's
instructions on doing this are sufficiently terse that they are only useful
if you already know the answer: his suggestion was to look at the UPGRADING
file in the source tree.  Here's the relevant entry from that file.

    UPGRADING FROM RELEASE 0.9
    --------------------------
    Update your database with the 0.9-to-0.10.sql script.

Below this, there are other somewhat more detailed instructions for
previous upgrades (most too old to be relevant), which give the impression
that there are particularities for each stage, as each set of instructions
is slightly different.

But what does "update your database with the 0.9-to-0.10.sql script" mean?
*How* does one do this?  Once someone explains it, I'll be happy to write
it up and send the instructions to Robert Kulagowski for inclusion in the
docs.
