use mysqldump as described in:
http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-19.html#ss19.6
that will do a complete backup of your database (which is always good).
edit the backup file and send me the part related to the channel table only.
if you are going a do a complete rebuild, do it two times, one after the
very first mythfilldatabase with -x-xawchannels options, and one after
mythfilldatabase.

That's not the problem, as Ben said. I'm in Spain and that could happen here
also.

That looks inconsistent to me: If you where filling the channel info by
using a xawtv file, that was very likely because tv_grab_de doesn't provide
complete channel info, I'm right?, so then, the second (and successive)
mythfilldatabase should be run with the --update option. That will prevent
of changing the channel data and only insert the listings.
Note that the listings info will be filled if the xmltvid column has the
right id for the output of your tv_grab_de, and if you filled it with
xawchannels, I'm not sure that this is going a happen, please check it.

Although I haven't seen your tv_grab_de output, my advice for doing this in
your rebuild is that you have top do it in that way:

$ mythfilldatabase --manual --preset --xawchannel 1 `/.xawtv

That will give you a few prompts for each channel, but you'll be able to
realize what is being inserted, so maybe you'll be able to find also what's
wrong if was there. If the data is OK, you just have to hit [ENTER], use a
unique positive integer if you want to keep the channel
Do the backup as described before.

Then run:

$ mythfilldatabase --update

Do another backup.

If at this point you still haven't found the problem:

Cut the backups with the channel related info, give me also the output of
your tv_grab_de (i.e., with $tv_grab_de days=1). Sent all of this to me....

In the meantime, if any german user could confirm us the right use of
mythfilldatabase for tv_grab_de... that might help.
