I am getting the exact same problem as what you are describing, but what
bugs me in my case, is that I don't get the same behaviour every time I
reboot.
After a reboot:
- sometime, it works and I can feed /dev/video0 into /dev/video16 and see
nice tv-out output
- sometime, it works and I can feed /dev/video0 into /dev/video16 but the
output has black horizontal stripes
- sometime, it does not works and I get the same output as you described.
Do you thing it could be a bad card ? I just got it few days ago.
I am using ivtv-031125A-0.12.tar with firmware 21288.
Cheers,
Olivier.
