[mythtv-users] Bugs/Problems with mythvideo and mythweb

In mythvideo: I have a strange bug where I when I try to download imdb
information about a movie. Basically, when I try to download information
for a movie with a common name, I get a list of movies. [For example,
when I want to look up the movie "True Lies" I get a list of about ten
films, of which only one the action film staring the Governor of
California.]

I cannot choose any of the films in the selection box. When I press
"Enter" or "Space" nothing happens. I can scroll down to the Cancel,
Reset Entry, and Manually Enter imdb # field, press enter, and that item
will be selected. But I can't select the movies it looks up.

Another consequence of this problem (which may or may not be related)
is that if I try to manually enter the IMDB number I can type in numbers,
but again enter or space has no effect.

I should mention that I can download from imdb movies with uncommon
names like "Artificial Intelligence:A.I." without any problems.

In mythweb: I cannot change the key bindings or more specifically the
"keybindings" table in the database. When I change the keybindings in
mythweb and check the database (with another application) I see no
changes. However, I can change the "record" database by recording a show
in mythweb. This indicates that mythweb has write permission but just
isn't changing the keybindings table.

In a separate issue I have issues using mythweb with mozilla (1.4). When
I select try to use any of the .php scripts in mythweb, instead of opening
a new page mozilla tries to download the php script. Since mythweb works
in Konqueror I have to assume that this is a mozilla problem, but does
anyone know what I that might be?

Lastly my system is: I am running myth-0.13 on Mandrake 9.1,
self-compiled from sources (not CVS).

Thanks in advance,
Shawn Kwang
