Not sure it matters in regards to the specific issue,
but I am pretty sure Jarod would be running the real
supported RHEL6 with latest fixes (and while CentOS
is targeted to be a clone,  the project has had some
challenges keeping up with the fixes/releases/packaging
of the supported RHEL6 product).
