I would at least try it out and see how it felt.  I'm not too crazy
about the idea in general... I would be more "in to" anything that
simplified our needs for so many menu items-- ie, unifying Play DVD
and Play VCD into "Play Video Disc" or something, or maybe even
dropping the Play VCD thing entirely.  I don't know, I'd just need to
try it out and think about how better to deal with it.  One of the
ways I've thought about improving the user experience is actually to
dynamically insert a disk object into the MythVideo library when one
is inserted to be played like any other movie... There's a lot of room
to improve in this area but I'm not so sure this is the right way to
go.  Worst comes to worst, if you have something that works for you,
you can always use it locally.
