Gavin,

I have submitted the patch.  It should not interfere with any work you are 
doing.  

Do you have any thoughts on dropping the use of upnpmedia table and serving the 
videometadata table instead?  I have a working patch for this and from my point 
of view it is much better because you get the coverart and descriptions of the 
video elements.

There is actually activity on the UPNP server part of mythtv currently.  I am 
working on it.  I am *THIS* close to being ready to commit a fairly large chunk 
that would give us commercial skipping over UPNP.  I'm just not quite done 
testing.  I don't know if I'll have it ready for 0.24.

In the meantime, please submit any patches via tickets in trac, and I will get 
to them fairly quickly.
