[mythtv] MPEGRec(/dev/video0) Error: StartEncoding - giving up

Hi everybody !

  I bought the Hauppauge HD-PVR.

  I have compiled the "hdpvr driver", and the mythtv-trunk.  I can
record from the HD-PVR with the command "cat /dev/video0 >
test.ts".

  I have also downloaded the lastest Windows driver on the Hauppauge
website and set it up so that the firmware get updated. (And got the
same results from MythTV).

  My installation of MythTV seems to work too.  But when I set a
recording, it is unable to start it.  I have googled a lot about it, but
haven't found anything helping me on my problem.  I did many tests, with
no success.  I have also looked to the source code where the error
message is provided and it has hinted me to check "v4l", which I did,
and everything "seems" fine there too.

  I use this system as a headless backend.

  The first time I compiled MythTV I removed many options, and thought
it was the reason why, so I recomplied it by disabling nothing, but with
no success.  My version is:
