Hi devs
Currently I'm hardening minimyth for stable and problem-less usage for
non computer geeks.
As my system (based on excellent minimyth distro) is using s3 for
sleep/resume - I can easy achieve months uptime.
With such long uptimes some more viable things can start to manifest -
i.e. memory leaks.
For checking this, I prepared set of scripts simulating usage of main
myth functions like LiveTV, play rec, play video, read news, check
system stats, etc.
Below are FYI results of my tests.
Details:
-Every function was launched / exited by script approx 100-150 times.
-I do cat proc/meminfo before and after launch series.
-Difference between free+buffers+cache can show mem leak. Results below
are kB.
-sys is: minimyth 0.21-53 with 0.21-fixes SVN17722, ffmpeg 13775.27074,
2.6.25.10, Xorg7.3

In all cases leak is in mythfrontned.
Only exception is mythstatus - leak is in X.
X started with RSS as 5.1%, anded with 27%.
If You have any questions or new myth SVN addressing mem leaks - I'll
be more than happy to help testing.
