AhhhH!

Now it's finally clear!  If only it had been put like that in the first place...

As a theme designer I'm well aware of the lack of flexibility imposed
by some parts of the UI code and would like to see that change.  It
was the idea of messing up the _main_ menu screens I was so strongly
opposed to, not making individual elements within the inner screens
more flexible.
