I second this.  I've always thought it would be cool to have a
remote-friendly 'menu-manager' that would let you select (add) to
deselect (remove) from a master-menu-tree.  This would entail a
tree-like structure of every possible menu item and then customizing
it how you see fit.  The catch would be to make it work in the face of
changing themes... perhaps decoupling the two (I'm not familiar with
theme writing, so forgive me if this is a retarded suggestion).
