Think i've found part of the problem. When you try to find the imdb.pl 
script with locate it seems that there is some kind of \0 at the end of the 
line that is found or something.
Therefore everything that you add after $imdb get cut off.
If i altered one of the file_exists, above the locate, to point to where i 
have my script it works to get information from IMDB. I get some hits, and i 
also get the movie information.

However, the poster problem still exist. The poster gets saved, but not 
associated with my file. So it is still "Missing Cover" in MythWeb. And that 
seems to have something to do with file paths.
If i try to get information for a moviefile with IMDB through the 
Videomanager in MythTV the path to the poster is 
"/mnt/multimedia/posters/0238380.jpg" (this works, the poster shows) and if 
i try to get it through MythWeb the path is "data/video_covers//0238380.jpg" 
(dont work, no poster).
