I don't know if 12903 would work, I haven't been following
MythTV development very closely in the last few weeks. I think
after we verify that this patch removes the race problem in
a recent trunk, then the incremental patches would be fine
against an older rev. But I really need a clean 'this works'
version of the SVN head to bisect against the broken actual
SVN head in order to narrow down on the problem quickly.
