I'll update my OS X Backend and give things a go. I'll try and submit  
patches if I can (or questions if I can't) if things go wrong. I  
don't really need anything beyond the default storage group however -  
I have just one large external Firewire Drive I use for holding  
recordings (though I could add one or two more for testing).
