I've thought for a while that grouping the current options in the osd
menu into two levels would be an improvement. Groups of program,
picture, sound would be good starting points that cover a lot of the
options I think. If the osd growth continues I may even code that up, but
I've not quite reached the required frustration level with it yet. :)

I don't think that relying on mapping everything to buttons on a remote is
a good solution: I want a simpler remote, not one with so many
buttons it looks like a keyboard.
