is ther eno better documentation of the scheduler aviable??

how does the scheduler check if a channel is aviable or not (if there is a 
free card??)

It's not explicitly stated on that page and really doesn't need to be.
The scheduler will use all of the available program information to
schedule from - It doesn't "window" at all. This means that it's
dependent on your listings provider how far ahead Myth will schedule.
