One would expect both MythVideo and MythGallery to use the same backend, 
where they are now using their own system to define supported files.

The same for .mov support, I do agree you can _easily_ add the support for 
.mov, but I wonder why you shouldn't add support for the most trivial used 
files

No problem with you closing this bug, but I do think its a valid remark.
