I was thinking more along the lines of just making existing recordings 
available to other UPnP devices.  For scheduling and all that, you're right, 
there's no standard defined yet, but UPnP A/V would do just fine for 
accessing existing recordings.

Doesn't UPnP just define HTTP GET as the current method for this?  From what 
I've seen after doing some network sniffing, our D-Link UPnP Media Renderer 
does HTTP GETs when grabbing files.
