>From a quick look, it looks like it is not really a configuration
problem. The problem appears to be that the check for channels on
another recorder doesn't work until the channel is unique. But 
since you have many five character channel numbers there are many
matches for the one and two character channels that you tested.
When you commit a channel change that doesn't match a channel on
the current recorder we should check the other recorders for an
exact match.

I'm planning to look at #1013 next, it looks like a serious problem.
Then I'll look at this cross tuner channel change problem again.
