First, I only just noticed this thread was originally about *seeking*.
My problem is that WMA files don't play at all, so maybe we don't have
the same problem.

Regarding the hack affecting other formats, it doesn't affect mp3 or
.ogg files on my system, but you're right to be wary of the hack -
it's clearly not a proper fix for anything. I just posted it in case
it rang some bells among those more familiar with the WMA code.

Given that your problem's different, and no-one else is complaining
about WMA playback, maybe I just have some mismatched files or
something. (I never seek within music files, so I wouldn't ever have
noticed that was broken)
