That I've been busy. That I've missed them.

I'm personally rather neutral on the topic since I'm not French. ;)

I'm all for making the tool chain easier myself. That's not really the
issue. The issue here was the fact that you submitted a patch to add
translations that changed every single line in the files you translated
which makes it difficult for someone applying a patch to determine
exactly what changed without going through the patch line by line and
comparing.
You might want to ask some of the folks that are doing / have been doing
translations about the tools they use... You're the first person *I've*
seen complaining about it. That not to say there isn't room for
improvement just that I don't recall it being an issue.

Why would you have to translate the same menu more than once for the
same language?

Then you probably should have seen the rule to keep patches small and
focused.

I've posted this back to the mailing list. Had you kept your follow up
questions there someone would else probably would have chimed in.

Isaac has the final say on everything.

No I'm not responsible for the translations. I *was* however going to
apply your patch to the menus since 1) I built the new menus and felt
bad that they weren't all translated yet and 2) I had time that day to
get it done.
