[mythtv] pcHDTV oddity

Hey all,

Finally got around to getting my pcHDTV card back in action, and man, I forgot
how cool this thing is when it works. However, I've got two little problems I
haven't yet been able to figure out. (Admittedly, I haven't yet put in a huge
amount of time on either of them myself, so maybe I shouldn't be posting yet,
but just in case someone has pointers... :-)

1) CBS in my area has one of the strongest signals, and only one sub-channel.
If I tune to it in live TV, 9 times out of 10, its perfect. The other time,
the picture is fine, but the audio sounds like its muted and underwater. I
can live with that, but *every* recording (out of like 7 so far) done on that
channel has the underwater audio problem.

2) ABC also has a very strong signal, and worked great several months back
when I last had my card working. I'm not sure if its related, but this is my
only 720p station... It always plays back like its in slow motion, with
stuttering video and audio, both in live TV and recordings. If I pause the
video, then unpause, it seems to play fine for a sec, then starts crapping
out again.

I've tried to keep up on what's going on w/pcHDTV support, but I don't know if
similar issues have already been covered. Point me in the right direction,
and I'll try out any patch, get any debug info, grab a video clip for someone
to look at, etc. :-)

The system in question here is an Athlon XP 3200 w/512MB of RAM in
dual-channel DDR-400 mode, a 128MB 8x AGP GeForce FX 5200, the 6111 nvidia
driver, MythTV 0.16, 2.6.7 kernel patched up very similar to David George's
(only divergences are 4kstacks and Ulmo's 1.4 pcHDTV patch in my kernel).
