[mythtv] Req: Keep data in the ringbuffer around until overwritten by new recordings

Hello,

On the -user IRC channel we were discussing if there a way we can get the 
backend to keep the ringbuffer always full, and never delete it. So that 
when I press live tv , I can always rewind (for when something bad happen , 
so that I don't lose the hour and a half of video in the buffer then I 
paused the tv for a very long call for example).

  I could not find in the archives any discussion about a feature like this. 
>From a developer point of view, would a feature like this be acceptable 
without causing any major changes to the architecture?
