OS X doesn't have a POSIX capability library.  (Yes, it's stupid, but 
that's beside the point.)  Could you wrapper this in a settings.pro 
option, so it won't break the Mac build?  I don't care if it doesn't 
apply the nice'ing in this case, I just want to still be able to 
compile.
