[mythtv] DVB DiSEqC Patches

I am trying to impliemnt DiSEqC changes on the DVB-S code.  I have been
having sporadic results with or without the switch included in the loop. 
What is happening with both of my DVB-S Cards (Hauppauge Nexus, and
Happauge Nova) is that half the time it won't tune to the channel, and the
other time it won't even register that its tuning.

Are there any know issues with getting these cards tuning?  Both cards use
the STV0299 tuner.  I can get the same channels to tune and lock with szap
no problem, so its not an issue with the PIDs or Frequencies being wrong
etc.  I verified the channel parameters with a DVB ird.

Where can I start looking to see why I am getting this tuning issue?  I
have taken out all of the changes and reverted back to current CVS and it
persists, so its not the code I am trying to impliment.
