I would like to see this functionality developed... having a button
toggle between the two modes that I use, compared with cycling through
five would be a great benefit to useability. If the trade-off is an
extra (optional) setup step, I'm more than happy with that.

To put that statement in context, our DVB-T transmissions in Australia
are always in 16:9, even if it's 4:3 content (in which case it's
pillarboxed to 16:9.) I have a 4:3 TV. I therefore use 16:9 zoom, and
16:9 only. Currently there's quite a mix of 4:3 and 16:9 content, which
makes the W key on the remote the most used one of all!
