[mythtv] CVS frontend hosed for the last week

I've been having similarly strange issues for the past ten days or so:
it's not just you, Curtis.  Ever since Isaac's epic checkin that
changed about half the output code in one fell swoop, I can't play
video on my Xv-only, non-experimental, non-RTC-timing remote
frontend.  All I get is a video stutter, a few seconds of audio, and
then X locks up.
