if you have my mythbrowser plugin installed give this a shot. add the 
following lines to your /usr/local/share/mythtv/tv_schedule.xml:

<button>
   <type>TV</type>
   <text>Scheduled Programs</text>
   <action>EXEC /usr/local/bin/mythbrowser 
http://master.backend.ip.address:6544/</action>
   <depends>mythbookmarkmanager</depends>
</button>

you can get the latest version of the mythbrowser (requires KDE-devel) 
plugin from: 
http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~pcattin/downloads/mythbrowser_V0.31.tar.bz2
