Hmmm. All the recordings I#8217;vetried look just fine, though

#8220;full screen#8221; in windows mediaplayer still has black borders.

Now I just wish that my 802.11b networkswas about 20%

Faster, or my machine that#8217;shardwired to the network

was fast enough to play back.

I have installed the filters on winxp and the picture is horrible. The

audio sounds great, but the picture looks like it is scrambled. Do the

filters work with myth11 or do I need CVS?

What video codec is the files encoded with? Rtjpeg or mpeg4?

If it's mpeg4 have you installed ffdshow or divx?

RTjpeg

The installer don't associate .nuv with any application

since I don't know

what player you want to use, but that shoudn't prevent you

from opening .nuv

files in almost any media player app.

The installer only adds the nessesary registry entries to

make the filters

and shell extensions work.

About the file associations, there is a minor problem on

winme that makes

the propertypage disapear if you change the file association.

Wich version of windows are you using?

Windows 98 SE

Could it be a problem if I installed the base components but

not the Explorer

shell extension? I uninstalled after my first install,

because it seemed

like the shell extension was causing Explorer to crash. If I

get the DS

filter working, I'll try re-installing the Explorer shell

extension to verify

if that is indeed the case.

The filters will work just fine without the shell extensions.

I woudn't be surprised if win98 did something different than winme that

breaks the filter, I'll see if I can do some debuging on a win98 computer.

I have seen the explorer crashing on win9x/me too (works fine on winxp). I

did find one problem that can cause explorer to crash, but there migt be

more.

I'm developing the filter and shell extensions on a winxp computer so that#8217;s

why there might be problems with win9x/me, but I'll try to make it work on

win9x/me too.
