[mythtv] Which IDE gui for MythTV development?

Hello,

I'm a bit of a linux newbie, but have managed to make some progress this 
weekend, having installed redhat 8, got my TV card working (Hercules 
SmartTV Stereo) with XawTV and have myth (CVS) compiled.

I'm also a developer (coming from Symbian OS) and would like to have a 
play with the source.

So my question is whether the developer folks here on this list are 
using a linux IDE to navigate around the source and if so, which one? I 
have KDevelop 2.1.3 installed which looks fairly functional.

How about debugging? Is it GDB or are you using some debugging features 
of an IDE?

I know these questions aren't directly related to MythTV, but they are 
related to mytv development so some basic pointers from anybody who can 
spare a few mins to write would be really nice! :)
