Could you try reverting the patch from here: 
http://cvs.mythtv.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/MC/libs/libmythtv/NuppelVideoPlayer.cpp.diff?r1=1.125&r2=1.126

and see if that is the cause?
