The xmltv answer is to pipe it via tv_sort to add the end times.

There has been a bit of discussion about this already on the xmltv list.

Technically Mythtv is not behaving correctly by requiring end times, at
least from what I have been able to figure out, (it doesn't actually
affect me because I use my own grabber that conforms to the Myth way.
(no, its not a NA grabber))
