Ok,
we can patch is ready.
What's new :
New item in menu -> filter dialog
In videomanager, videobrowser an videotree press 'i' to select which 
filter you want.
genre and country are already grab from imdb.
The grabber use a french site for french user the information about a 
movie are in french.
In editmetadata, the user can select a category (left and right arrow) 
for a movie or add a new category when he press SELECT.

file which are modify:
editmatadata.cpp .h
metadata.cpp .h
videobrowser.cpp .h
videotree.cpp .h
videomanager.cpp .h

new file :
videofilter.h
videofilter.cpp

Then the make file have changed

Endly, the patch.sql file represents the change needed by my patch for 
mysql  database.

thor, your first reason is dead :-P
Please apply this patch when you have enough time
