[mythtv] awesome program, but a couple problems

Hello,

I am totally amazed at the quality of this spare time project. Wow! Now
I really need a new computer, my dual 400mhz Celerons just aint what
they used to be :)

But here's my problems:
1. I can't quit mythfrontend. Alt-F4 has no effect on the sucker, so I
gotta do the Ctrl-C if I started it in a term, or killall mythfrontend.
Not a showstopper, but certainly annoying. Can we get a Quit button or
a keyboard shortcut that will end the program?

2. Maybe not a problem with the program, but I'm not sure what to
change in my setup to get it working. I'm running two screens in
Xinerama mode, one at 640x480 (a Trident TGUI9440) and the other at
1600x1200 (an Nvidia-based Diamond Viper 770 w/32mb, using the nv
driver). When I Watch Live TV, mythfrontend reports:

Found 2 Xinerama Screens
Using first Xinerama screen, 1600x1200+640+0
Couldn't find Xv support, falling back to non-Xv mode.

and the video plays just slightly below tolerably watchable.
On the other hand, xawtv plays fine, on that screen at least, and finds
Xvideo (is that the same as Xv?). Anyone know how I can get mythtv to
find and use Xvideo too? I can send my XF86Config or anything else, on
or off the mailing list (whatever's appropriate). I'm running KDE 3.1
from Slackware 9.0. 

3. If I hit Escape to exit out of watching TV, everything is fine, but
if I close out the window by hitting the close (X) button on the
titlebar, mythfrontend quits with this message:

mythfrontend: Fatal IO error: client killed
=============
again, not a showstopper, but it would be nice if the program played
nice. But then, I'd rather have you fix # 1 above, or add any other
cool enhancements to this program.

I just gotta get a faster system...any recommendations for a good
motherboard/video for someone on a tight budget, that plays well with
MythTV?
