 Note that this issue only occurs when you use Qt 4.7 and later, and
 compile using llvm/clang

 It doesn't occur when compiling with gcc (Xcode 3.x)

 Also, unlike the initial report, it has nothing to do with timing. It only
 occurs when you go into the settings menu. If you only ever go into
 playback, recording screens etc... the problem will not occur
