1) the auto racing question was more a curiosity as I was setting up the
Indy 500. I don't follow racing but the Indy is like the Super Bowl, sort
of a pop culture event because of its size and history.
2) we're currently at a place with included xfinity cable, but my temporary
myth setup is ota only. So yes, I've seen what happens when they move games
mid-game. It also reminds me how primitive Xfinity recording rules are
compared to MythTV. The Devs rock.
3) as for keeping games, it mostly referred to the Blue Jays playoffs and
World Series. The auto-extend saved my butt for the 18 inning game 3, but
the recording ended just a minute or two after the last out. If it did the
auto-extend AND the additional time in the rule, I'd have the post-game
discussion as well.
4)I edited out the commercials in the Jays games and saved it to Jellyfin.

Take care.
